Question by chillycat69: Laptop repair?
My laptop keeps getting frozen, I think I might need a repair like a whole system cleanup. I was also thinking of installing wireless internet on it. Where’s a good place to go get all of that done and not getting ripped off? BTW I live in California.

Did you buy this laptop new? Do you still have the paperwork that came with it? User Guide? If you do, look for the Function key,(for example, F11, F12), that you press to do a System Restore. Follow the directions, or come back here and ask us. You can also go online to the laptop manufacturer’s website, look for Support in the top header, and click on it. On this page, type in your model number/letter combo, and when this page comes up, look for System Restore Disk, or type it in the search bar on the page.( I suggest you spend the money for the disk, instead of a download. This way you’ll have it in the future, if you need it, at your fingertips. Usually cost’s $ 12 to $ 22, for shipping and handling, depends on how fast you want it shipped) Can’t find any of this info? Come back and post your laptop maker, and model number.(Model number is on the bottom, next to the operating system ‘sticker’. For example, WindowsXP is an OS, or operating system) If we had this info we could guide you also, to see if you have wireless internet capability built-in, or have to buy a wireless adapter card for it.
