No, you can not. An OEM version is shipped with a computer, and is tied to that computer for life. You cannot legally install that copy of Windows on any other computer, EVER.

Anyone who tells you anything other than that is wrong.

After an OEM software license has been installed on a PC, the license may not be installed on another PC. However, the entire PC may be transferred to another end user along with the software license rights. When transferring the PC to the new end user the software media, manuals (if applicable) and Certificate of Authenticity must be included. It is also advisable to include the original purchase invoice or receipt. The original end user cannot keep any copies of the software

Why isn’t it going to work any more? The vista OS will have a licence code on it some where which prevents it from being used on multiple computers, so you don’t just buy one disk and load it onto loads of PC’s instead of buying more disks. If the other computer had vista preinstalled on it, it will have a licence sticker on it somewhere which means you can install vista from your disk but use the licence on the other PC. If you’re selling it on E bay remember to sell it without the Hard Drive otherwise your information can be recovered from that drive.

well that disk could of been made to work for that computer only, i have a Windows XP disk that will only work om my Emachine. and you don’t have to sell the disk with the computer all you have to do it tell the people what you are selling and every thing that they get with the computer.

Unlike Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitors LCD screens are far more sensitive and fragile to dust particles that might cause scratches. That is why handling the device more gently is expected. Below is a step by step procedure that you will find useful in terms of cleaning your LCD screens properly.

1.First gather up all the necessary cleaning equipments. Use clean soft cloth. A piece of cloth with a material similar to that of an eyeglass cleaner is preferable. However, if this isn’t available, a soft cotton handkerchief will also do. Never use a tissue paper or a paper towel. This can cause scratches on the screen. Next thing to do is to prepare the cleaning solution. Mix a small part of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol to a part of distilled water. Don’t use tap or mineral water. This type of water contains salts which would likely leave white marks on the screen when dried. If alcohol isn’t available, the distilled water would do.

2.Check the computer user’s manual for any detailed instructions.

3.Turn off the monitor.

4.Apply the cleaning solution into the cloth. Wipe the screen gently using the cloth. Include the edges of the LCD screen. Make sure that you follow only one direction in wiping it. Use only a small amount of pressure when in contact with it. Never press your fingers on the screen as this may cause the pixels to burn out which may lead to the permanent damage of your LCD matrix.

5.To clean the plastic part of the screen, the same cloth can still be use for wiping it.

You can compare prices within one site either at futureshop.ca or bestbuy.ca… http://www.tigerdirect.ca has some decent prices though so compare at the first two sites then check tigerdirect.ca and make your own decision..

Here’s the problem, when you buy an operating system (or a computer with an operating system obviously) you’re not actually buying the operating system itself, what you’re buying is a license to use that operating system.

That ‘license’ is represented by a small sticker placed somewhere on the computer, probably the bottom for your laptop. Sell that sticker, you sell the license, and you no longer have a legal right to use the operating system.

You think you ordered the right battery. If it’s a knockoff it’s NOT the right battery. When you buy the cheap crap you frequently get cheap garbage. That’s why you see people with duct tape holding the battery in. You should be amazed that it actually runs your laptop.
