Question by jo k: Where can I possibly ask for free secondhand but still working computers and laptops?
Although many private schools have computers for their students, not all have sufficient number of units so that students can fully explore a computer/internet. In fact, majority of the so-called private schools outside of our capital lacks computer.
What is horrible is the fact that public elementary/highschool, even here in the capital region, have few computers for their massive student populace. If a public school has a ratio of 1 computer for every 40 students, they can already be considered lucky because majority of the schools have worst ratio or have no computers for their students.
My wife is taking up a graduate studies in one of the old state univerities in Manila City. Last year, she learned from one of the instructors there that for their college they only had 1 P3 PC for their computer graphics subjects. Last week she learned that an organization donated 4 2nd hand P4.
I want to solicit 2nd hand PCs and laptops to be donated to our schools.
My email is my yahoo ID.
